JLL - SUSTAINABILITY

JLL is a leading provider of real estate services and solutions for various sectors and markets. 

Sustainability is a core part of JLL's business as a property consultant.  They regularly release reports and white papers detailing how the importance of sustainability considerations in real estate.  Maintaining the "green" value of your real estate portfolio is an essential aspect of maintaining your portfolio value so it's essential information that needed to be presented in an easy to understand format.  

THE PROBLEM

As the importance of green real estate grows, JLL wanted to drive home the importance of industry trends to their customer base.  

Unfortunately white papers and articles rarely get the type of attention their content deserves so JLL wanted to find a more compelling way to encourage their customers to read their latest report  on the green real estate industry.

JLL's internal brand guidelines are very strict so the challenge was to portray the findings of the report whilst remaining within these guidelines.  

CONCEPT

Landlords are time poor individuals who needed to quickly understand the relationship between investing in their portfolio to make it more sustainable and their overall property value.  

So the animation needed to be short and simple.  As we know most of the JLL's audience watches videos without sound we opted for no voice over and just an upbeat music track. 

The very simplistic graphics were largely dictated by JLL strict brand guidelines, however they were used in innovative ways to demonstrate the points with a s few a words on screen as possible.

RESULTS

The video was sent out to more than 40,000 landlords across SE Asia to help them quickly understand the impact green real estate can have on their property portfolio.  

Whilst we don't have specific results on the performance of the animation, we do know that the sustainability team at JLL were very happy with the response they received to the video from landlords across the region.
